A showcase for solar power
The Solar Challenge is not just about performance. In fact, its main objective is to raise public awareness of the possibilities of renewable energies, of the fabulous resources they provide and of the applications they will be put to in the near future. Solar energy is a rapidly expanding field that will create large numbers of jobs in the years to come.

The Electric Rallye Cup (E.R.C) :
- A 60-km rally for electric vehicles around Lake Bourget. The ERC is open to production vehicles and manufacturers’ prototypes.
An exceptional course for a unique rally ! The circuit round Lake Bourget will follow flat roads along the lakeshore through Aix-les-Bains, before heading into the mountains on the ‘wild’ side of the lake, climbing up above Hautecombe Abbey and Le Bourget du Lac. Magnificent views and a great spectacle guaranteed.
