Solar Event will include a pavilion dedicated to employment and training in the fields of solar energy and energy in buildings.

The Employment/Training Pavilion's services are aimed at school children, young people, job seekers, people looking for a change of career and industry. Sponsored by France's public employment agency (ANPE) and organised in close collaboration with numerous partners*, the Employment/Training Pavilion will allow you to:

 

Find out about key trades in the solar and building energy sectors
The skills and techniques involved in installing solar-energy systems will become clear through solar-panel installation demonstrations on a specially designed framework in the Solar Habitat Village.
The Employment/Training Pavilion will also house a video area that will be used to present a range of careers in the renewable energies sector.

 

Find out about initial and continuing professional training in these fields
An exhibition will present key trades, together with training programmes that give access to these careers. Professionals from the solar energy sector will also be present to provide individualised information based on a database of training organisations.

The ANPE, the Savoie building industry federation and the Eco-Energies Cluster will have stands in the pavilion, where they will provide advice about:

• Possible finance for training courses,
• Local training possibilities,
• The commitment of professional bodies to these new trades.

Gain access to job offers from innovative companies and meet employers who are recruiting You will be able to get more information about the jobs on offer with the companies present in the Exhibition Area. In addition, the ANPE will be available to put you in touch with prospective employers suited to your profile.

 

The "Rencontres de l'Emploi" at Solar Event   The 14th Rhône-Alpes Rencontres de l'Emploi et de la Formation (Employment and Training Forum) will be held at Solar Event and will be based on the theme “sustainable development and employment”. The forum, which will take place on Thursday 26th June (9am to 5pm), will be the curtain raiser for Solar Event. With around 200 participants, it will bring together most of the region's renewable energies and sustainable development companies, training organisations, employment agencies, consultants, trades unions and government services, as well as local authorities. Energy path village

 

Energy Path is an educative project supported by the Intelligent Energy for Europe Program of the Executive Agency of Energy Intelligent (IEEA), whose objective is the development of a set of online contents and didactic resources on:

• Renewable Energy Sources
• Rational Use of Energy
• Transport and mobility

The project is addressed to teachers and agents related to the education and the energy, and students of secondary of 16 years mainly and general public. On the occasion of this event we will organise the presentation of Energy path project on the training village.

All the French pilot schools involved in Energy path have the opportunity to participate and to present their specific training (technical platform, activities,..) and to demonstrate the use of  Energy Path web site. We will invite more than 20 schools on Solar Event .
