Lake Bourget could not be excluded from Solar Event.

 

A wide range of products for both private and collective use are now available, so we could not ignore the solar energy applications that have been developed for leisure boating. Sightseeing ferries provide a pleasant way of exploring the unspoilt shores of the lake.

Solar Event will enable visitors to take a cruise on the solar-powered boat developed by the Lake Geneva company MW-Line. From its mooring at the Port des Mottets, the “Aquabus” will take you on a peaceful, silent and ecologically-friendly tour of the lake's new reed beds.

Other boat builders will present solar-boats of all shapes and sizes, and Savoie General Council and the National Solar Energy Institute will play their part too, as Solar Event will be used to ‘launch' Savoie's solar boat, designed specifically for research purposes.
